Both lengths use the same 3 mm line of stones. What changes is where it sits and how many stones it carries.
- 16 inches — sits high at the base of the throat, close to a choker. The shorter line reads bolder against the neck and layers neatly under a longer chain.
- 18 inches — rests on the collarbone, the classic tennis necklace drape. More forgiving on a larger neck, and the easier length to wear with an open collar.
Because the line runs continuously, the longer length carries more stones and therefore a higher total carat weight. The exact stone count and carat weight for each length are listed in Product Details.

Every stone is lab-created moissanite, D colorless with VVS1 clarity and an excellent brilliant cut — each one set individually so the necklace reads as a single unbroken line of light rather than separate sparkles.
Moissanite has a higher refractive index (2.65–2.69) and more than twice the fire of diamond, and at 9.25 on the Mohs scale it is the second-hardest gemstone used in jewelry.
About carat weight. Moissanite carat totals are quoted as DEW, or diamond equivalent weight. A 3 mm moissanite is the same size as a 0.10 carat diamond, so a necklace listed at 12.7 CTW looks like 12.7 carats of diamonds across the neck. Moissanite is a little lighter than diamond, so DEW describes size rather than literal weight.
