  • 14K or 18K gold plated — a warm yellow finish over the same sterling silver core.

Sterling silver is hypoallergenic, lead-free and nickel-free. Plating is a surface finish, so like all plated jewelry it wears gradually with daily contact. These pieces are made for regular wear — not for swimming, showering or sleeping in.

Keeping the finish

  • Put your jewelry on last, after perfume, lotion and hairspray.
  • Remove it before swimming, showering, exercising or sleeping.
  • Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Never use silver dip or abrasive polish on a plated piece.
  • Store it dry and separately, ideally in the pouch or box it arrived in.
