How it works
- You order, and we source your IGI-certified lab-grown diamond — E color, VVS2 clarity, at or above the carat weight listed.
- We send you the stone’s certificate to review. Nothing is made until you approve it.
- Once you approve, we build your ring and ship within 10 business days.

Before you approve the stone — cancel any time for a 100% refund.
After you approve — cancellation is subject to a 50% cancellation and restocking fee.

Choose your stone at the top of this page. Both are grown rather than mined, both are set by hand in solid 14K gold, and both arrive with their own paperwork.
Lab-grown diamond. Chemically and optically the same material as a mined diamond, and graded on the same scales. Every stone we set is IGI certified at E color and VVS2 clarity — near colorless to the eye, with inclusions no one will see without magnification. After you place your order we source your stone and send you its IGI report to review, and nothing is made until you approve it.
Lab-grown moissanite. A different gem with a character of its own. It bends light a little more than a diamond does, which is what produces those flashes of color across the stone. Ours are D to E color with VVS1 clarity, and every piece ships with a certificate of authenticity.
Both are cut to the same standard, so the choice comes down to budget and the look you prefer.
Every Adora ring begins with craftsmanship. Each piece is cast in 14K solid gold and every lab-grown diamond or moissanite stone is hand-set and polished, with its seating and symmetry checked at every stage before it ships. Finished to the same standard we'd want for our own family.
- Lab-Grown Diamond Made-to-Order Policy
At Adora Fine Jewelry, our lab-grown diamond jewelry is made to order with careful attention to quality and detail. To ensure transparency and confidence in your purchase, we provide you with an opportunity to review and approve your diamond before we proceed with production.
- Diamond Sourcing & Approval
After we receive your order, we will source an IGI-certified lab-grown diamond with E color and VVS2 clarity, based on the specifications required for your selected jewelry.
Once a suitable diamond has been identified, we will provide you with the diamond details, including the applicable IGI certification information, for your review.
We will not proceed to the next stage of your order until we receive your approval.
- Stone Specifications, Tolerance and Substitution
The stone we select will meet or exceed the carat weight shown on the product page. We will never set a stone lighter than the weight listed. Where a page lists a 2.00 ct stone, for example, the stone selected will be 2.00 ct or above.
Where a piece contains more than one stone, the figure shown is the total carat weight of all stones combined, and that total will likewise meet or exceed the weight listed. Millimeter dimensions shown are approximate and may vary slightly between individual stones.
We source every lab-grown diamond to an IGI-certified standard of E color and VVS2 clarity. Occasionally a stone at exactly that grade is unavailable in the shape and size your piece requires. In that event we will source a stone that equals or exceeds those specifications — for example, a higher color or clarity grade — at no additional cost to you, and we will send you its certification details for approval in the usual way. We will never substitute a stone of a lower grade without telling you first.
If we are unable to source a stone that meets these specifications, or you do not wish to approve the stone we offer, you may cancel your order for a full refund. No cancellation fee applies, because no cancellation fee applies at any point before you have approved a stone.
- Cancellation Before Diamond Approval
You may change your mind and cancel your order at any time before approving the selected diamond.
If you cancel during this stage, you will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid.
- Final Approval & Production
Once you review the diamond information and provide authorization for us to proceed, your order becomes a confirmed made-to-order purchase.
Your approval authorizes us to procure the selected diamond and begin preparing and producing your jewelry specifically for your order.
Because costs are incurred specifically for your piece after this approval, cancellation terms change at this stage.
- Cancellation After Approval
If you choose to cancel your order after approving the diamond and authorizing us to proceed, your refund will be subject to a 50% cancellation and restocking fee.
The remaining 50% of the eligible order amount will be refunded to the original method of payment.
This fee helps cover costs associated with diamond procurement, certification, order preparation, production commitments, and the customized nature of made-to-order jewelry.
- Returns of Made-to-Order Jewelry
Because our lab-grown diamond jewelry is produced specifically for each customer, made-to-order items are subject to different return conditions from regular in-stock merchandise.
Any return or cancellation request made after final diamond approval will be subject to the applicable cancellation or restocking terms described above,
unless the item received is defective, damaged, or materially different from the confirmed order.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable law.

Engagement rings are made to order. Lab-grown diamond engagement rings follow our Made-to-Order Policy, shown in the Policy tab higher up this page, and are not covered by the standard 30-day return window described below. You may cancel for a full refund at any time before you approve your diamond. After you approve the diamond and authorize us to proceed, cancellation is subject to a 50% cancellation and restocking fee. This does not apply if the piece arrives defective, damaged, or materially different from the confirmed order, and nothing here limits your rights under applicable law.
Everything else we sell is covered by our standard policy. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, you may request a return or exchange within 30 days of the delivery date. To begin, email us at service@adorafinejewelry.com.
Items eligible for return must come back in their original condition, with their packaging and documentation (including the certificate of authenticity, where one was included), and with the return invoice and prepaid return label we provide.
Once we receive your return, our team inspects it within 5 business days. If approved, your refund is issued within a further 5 business days to the original method of payment.
Please note: we are unable to accept returns on items that show signs of wear, or that have been engraved, resized, altered or damaged.
For in-stock pieces, yes — we accept returns within 30 days of delivery.
Made-to-order engagement rings are different. They are produced specifically for you, so they fall under our Made-to-Order Policy rather than the 30-day window: a full refund before you approve your diamond, and a 50% cancellation and restocking fee after you approve it. A piece that arrives defective, damaged or materially different from your confirmed order is of course put right at our cost.
